Golu Bommai Periyavaa Talks - 10/2/10

Two years back, when we went to India, my wife bought quite some golu bommais.....While crossing a shop in Luz corner, she saw a very pretty Sri Mahaperiyavaa bommai in a shop. Although she wanted to buy right away, she had to skip as she was in a rush to go to some place. On her way back to home, she stopped at the same shop and learnt that it was already gone as it was the last piece and someone bought it already. She was disappointed. In this trip in 2010, she made it a point to buy one.  I returned from my vacation few weeks before she came. When she came back, she came with a very good large sized Sri Periyavaa bommai. She came and kept in the puja room for few days. Although, I remember someone saying that golu bommais are not to be treated as vigrahams, I did not want to take it out of the puja room as it gives a very realistic image of Sri Periyavaa.....

Two days back, she was asking my help to setup the golu padis etc to arrange for Navarathiri.... While setting it up, my mind was thinking on keeping Periyavaa bommai as the first one in the golu for this year before keeping others. That night, I got a dream where I was going near that bommai and I see it actually moves the arms and legs and I see Sri Periyavaa actually talking - that too not in some different voice - the very voice that we all are familiar in listening to His lectures etc. Then I am calling my wife to come and witness. We feel blessed on this incident. I woke up. I couldn't wait to tell her first thing in the morning.... From now on this is not a bommai anymore, He is Sri Periyavaa, who is there always for us - always. My humble experience is you think about Him, He comes and talks to you.

You actually make it appear so easy along with your presentation however I in finding this topic to be really one thing which I
believe I might by no means understand. It sort of feels
too complicated and extremely vast for me.
I'm looking ahead in your next post, I'll try to get the
hold of it!

It is very nice to hear that you had so many darshans of maha swamigal even in dreams. You are really lucky.
